The Region of central Dalmatia where Split is located is the richest region in protected spaces not only because of the nearby islands, but what this city holds within. The Island of Brac is one of the examples, with it's Dorado Cape in Bol as one of the most famous spots. Brela is also a beautiful area where you'll find breathtaking beaches.
The Natural Park of Biokovo is another spot that should be visited in Croatia. It is rich in fauna and flora. The Blue Caves on the island of Biseva is where the monk seal is found.
